New Projects
health and social care training

Challenge Consultancy is embarking on a new phase of the company’s growth and development, during May & June 2008, Tracey-Jo Simpson along with a small group of other professionals were successful in achieving the competence required by NIMHE (National Institute of Mental Health in England) on behalf of CSIP (Care Services Improvement Partnerships National Programme for Mental Health & Wellbeing) to enable us to become NIMHE & CSIP Registered Instructors for the Mental Health First Aid Workshops.

During this financial year (2008 to 2009) a small number of pilots of the Mental Health First Aid are being run within the the West Midlands, Hertfordshire & Buckinghamshire.  These pilots will form the basis for both evidence of the effectiveness of the workshops, but also will enable other organisations to perhaps consider the benefit of having staff members  trained in Mental Health First Aid.
These workshops will be run through Challenge Consultancy initially, however from April 2009 the Instructors will be forming a partnership company The Instructors Group - more information regarding the workshops can be found on the MH First Aid page on this website
